"I'm not a huge shopper, but a friend wanted to stop in here to scope out some new lenses. Located on a great stretch of shops and restaurants on Magazine Street, Art & Eyes was a great (and beautiful) little boutique with hip, creative lenses and people. We all had a great time here trying on lenses and chatting up the staff while they and we gave advice to our friend. The staff was very knowledgable and offered constructive advice on which lenses worked best for each of us. It obviously won my friend over, because she left with new lenses and a happy customer!"

"I've been looking for an eyeglass shop like this since I was 16 years old and failed the vision portion of my driver's test. Great selection of frames. Smart, friendly staff. Allowed me to try on several frames, gave me feedback, then left me to think about it for a minute, which was just what I needed. Great customer service. Glasses ordered, shipped promptly, (I live on Mobile Bay) and delivered the next week (10 calendar days). This shop is NOLA funky, but just serious enough (these are your eyes, after all). This is where I'll be buying eyeglasses from now on. Highly recommended. "

"As a licensed optician i appreciate a store that curates unique frames from select brands not readily available at big chain opticals. The large selection has something for everyone and they really cater to their clientele's needs, as one associate was overheard calling a former customer to let her know they had gotten in some petite frames like she was looking for... Our first visit to New Orleans and we made a special journey from 45 minutes away to visit this shop. Highly recommended if you are looking for something completely different..."

"This place is tip top! The owners are so warm and accommodating. They made me feel like a million bucks! Not only did I score a fabulous set of shades, they gave me excellent lunch and dinner recommendations as it was our first time in the city. Added bonus: there is an adorable shop cat named Hamilton, he was the cherry on top of the visit! I'll be back!"
