"This place is tip top! The owners are so warm and accommodating. They made me feel like a million bucks! Not only did I score a fabulous set of shades, they gave me excellent lunch and dinner recommendations as it was our first time in the city. Added bonus: there is an adorable shop cat named Hamilton, he was the cherry on top of the visit! I'll be back!"

"My go-to Optical shop after a look around town and elsewhere in LA. They carry a great selection and the staff are so easy, cool, chill, etc. After choosing two frames I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the folks there are from my hometown, NYC! Their selection is high-end and the service totally complements it. Super professional and very up-front about recommendations for lenses (spot-on by the way), yet such a warm and genuinely interested and interesting staff. My new glasses came back in a week and I was very pleased about the frames, lenses, and the adjustments thereof. I hope to be over there from time-to-time just to hang out. Art and Eyes has my business as long as I'm here."

"This review is long overdue. We traveled to New Orleans for vacation in 2015 and never would have thought that I'd be shopping for new glasses. As fate would have it, we ducked into the store for some AC during a hot summer day. Starr helped us check out some of the edgy frames in the shop. We ended up buying 2 pairs of glasses and one pair of sunglasses. They even took care of calling my optometrist for my prescription. I don't think I have ever gotten as many compliments from strangers as I had. Starr has amazing taste and this is a great store for those looking for special frames."

"amazing service (which is important because I hate it when you are made to feel weird about trying on 200 different frames; here it is almost encouraged) and a truly fantastic selection for someone looking to find a unique pair of frames. They have really great warranties against any possible damages. plus, cool people shop here, so amusing people-watching while you shop."
